Update

Whoa Nellie! TONS of stuff has happened since that last post. I think I even have pictures to document all of the nutty stuff that's been going on. OF COURSE, when I finally have time to sit down and tell all about it (don't you love this extra hour), my card reader for the camera is at work. I had to go take pictures of a house Friday and I left it plugged into my computer at work. Sorry:( I'll get them uploaded tomorrow, barring any strange new developments on the home front.

It's a little crazy around here and, well, I started to say the nerves were wearing thin with the whole NO CABINETS (thus no kitchen) situation, but what the hell, I should just be honest. The nerves are worn down, worn off, rotted, stink and some donkeys came by and pooed on them. I've been really good through all of this. Remember a few weeks ago, when I came home and my kitchen sink was in the ditch. HA HA, yeah, those were the good days. This past week, I didn't have water for 24 hours. It's hard enough to wash dishes in the bathroom and mop out of the bathtub, try that situation out with NO WATER at all. We used the bathroom in the backyard. I wish I was one of those people that could just always be happy and live for the adventure that each new day brings. FOLKS, I'M OVER IT. The adventure has been fun, but it's time to move on. Mr. Cabinet dude has until Wednesday and then he shall meet a wrath he has never even dreamed of. I let Jeff know, he may want to warn the guy. For the past two Fridays, I've been told I'd have cabinets. I've picked out tile for the floors and countertops. I've picked out sinks, faucets, appliances, and new lighting! Unfortunately, NONE of those things matter without cabinets. Wednesday, sucka. Wednesday.

The little rodent problem we were having seems to be a thing of the past. I'm sure we'll have "incidents" from time to time, but we put poison out and only caught one more in the eleven traps that we had set. We caught that one in the attic. I am no longer scared of my back rooms. And yes, the traps are still set. They give me a feeling of security that I apparently need.

We had too much fun last night for Halloween. I have some fabulous pictures of Indiana Jones and new Doctor in the family. I'll get them on here tomorrow.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but I hope this week brings A LOT of workers in and out of my house and much construction!! Bring it ON (cuz I'm ready for it to be over). I miss cooking and eating at home. I'm ready to get on with life instead of living on a construction site. Jeff had the nerve to ask me Friday if we could have Thanksgiving at our house. HA. Jeff, you are so funny!

Peace,
Kacy
